Pinto Beans is a 5-6 month old Rat Terrier mix weighing 11 pounds with the softest little soul and the sweetest sensitive personality. This tiny guy is shy and nervous when first meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations, but underneath all that uncertainty is a loving puppy who just wants to feel safe.

Once Pinto Beans begins to trust you, his affectionate side slowly starts to shine through. He enjoys attention, calm companionship, peaceful environments, and simply being close to the people he feels comfortable with.

This handsome little boy gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a great fit for many different homes - especially calmer ones willing to give him patience and understanding while he settles in.

Pinto Beans rides beautifully in the car and would do well in almost any housing situation as long as his environment feels predictable, quiet, and secure. Loud noises, chaotic settings, and crowded environments can make him nervous, so he would thrive best in a calmer home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. We are looking for a home with another dog to help build his confidence. He loves other dogs. 

With a low energy level, Pinto Beans enjoys a slower-paced lifestyle filled with reassurance, gentle affection, and cozy downtime with his people.

As a Rat Terrier mix, Pinto Beans is intelligent, loyal, sensitive, and deeply bonded to those he trusts. Dogs like him flourish with routine, positive reinforcement, patience, gentle guidance, and lots of love.

Pinto Beans is neutered, heartworm negative, and has no known health concerns or physical limitations. He is ready to find a loving foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can finally feel safe enough to fully blossom into the amazing companion he is meant to be.
